It has been formed after research by a group of professionals from commerce and industry, IT, Publishing and Entertainment businesses.

The legal entity was incorporated more than 25 years ago by the Wadhwani family which at that time marketed precision engineering services and products. This was discontinued after 1999.

With the advent of a flat world platform

ie: convergence of personal computer, fiber optics and digital content software flow

it was decided that the time was right for a new order to be established and thus began the start of Wadhwani International Partnership from Jan 1st 2007.
